Anti-VDR Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the Vitamin D Receptor (VDR). It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and supplied as a liquid. The target molecular weight is reported at 48 kDa / 50 kDa.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). The antibody reacts with human and mouse samples. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human VDR (NP_000367.1), and the reagent has been affinity purified.

The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
