Anti-VDAC1 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent directed against VDAC1 (also known as VDAC1/Porin). The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein encompassing amino acids 1–283 of human VDAC1/Porin (NP_003365.1) and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, at a lot-specific concentration. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 36 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
