Anti-VCP Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the Valosin-Containing Protein (VCP), also known as p97, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody is shipped as a 100 µl aliquot and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation across human, mouse, and rat samples.

VCP is an abundant AAA+ ATPase that drives substrate extraction, unfolding, and delivery to the proteasome, and it is a central effector of ER-associated degradation (ERAD), mitochondrial quality control, and chromatin-associated processes.
