Description
A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against VCP (A346), supplied unconjugated in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2, at 1 mg/ml. The target is VCP, and the antibody has been validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity reported against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 320-370 of Human VCP, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of VCP protein. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The reported molecular weight of the target is ~ 88 kDa.
