VCAM1 (Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1, also called CD106) is a type I transmembrane sialoglycoprotein expressed on activated endothelial cells, where it mediates adhesion of lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils via integrin α4β1 binding. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications and cross-reacts with VCAM1 from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative studies of inflammatory vascular activation, atherogenesis, and leukocyte trafficking across species.
Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antibody in an unconjugated format, allowing flexible pairing with custom secondary detection systems such as HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates. The polyclonal profile broadens epitope recognition for robust signal in tissue sections and immunoblots. Refrigerate on arrival; protect from light; aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody performance across experiments.
