Anti-VASP (phospho S157) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes VASP (Vasodilator-Stimulated Phosphoprotein) when phosphorylated at serine 157, a well-characterized cAMP/PKA- and cGMP/PKG-dependent modification.

Phosphorylation at Ser157 serves as a biochemical readout of cyclic nucleotide signaling in platelets, vascular smooth muscle cells, and other cell types, making the reagent useful for cardiovascular and cell signaling research workflows.

Supplied as a 200 µL liquid, the unconjugated IgG is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications across human, mouse, and rat samples. On Western Blot, it detects the endogenous ~46 kDa VASP band, allowing researchers to monitor PKA or PKG pathway activation under various stimulation conditions. For IHC, the antibody can be applied to formalin-fixed tissue sections to localize phospho-S157 VASP in situ.
