Anti-VASP Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this research-grade polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography using a synthetic peptide derived from human VASP around the non-phosphorylation site of Ser157. It is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and has been shown to detect endogenous VASP protein in COS7 cells by Western blot. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, rat and monkey samples, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of cell- and tissue-based assays. For best stability, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
