VASP (Vasodilator-Stimulated Phosphoprotein) is a 46 kDa member of the Ena/VASP protein family that links actin filament remodeling to signaling cascades controlled by cyclic nucleotides. The polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied in an unconjugated format, letting investigators pair it with their preferred secondary detection reagents.

This reagent detects endogenous VASP in human, mouse, rat, and monkey specimens, supporting studies on platelet aggregation, focal adhesion dynamics, endothelial barrier integrity, and cell migration. Validated applications include Western blot analysis of cell and tissue lysates, immunofluorescence imaging of cytoskeletal structures at lamellipodia and filopodia, immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, and ELISA.

Because phosphorylation at Ser157 and Ser239 serves as a canonical readout for PKA and PKG activity, this VASP antibody complements phospho-specific probes for dissecting vascular, cardiovascular, and motility signaling. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, intended for research use only and not for diagnostic procedures.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody; store at -20 °C in working aliquots, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light to maintain binding activity. Working dilutions should be optimized per application, with Western blot concentrations typically between 0.5 and 2 µg/mL depending on antigen abundance in the lysate.
