Anti-VASP (Ab-157) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) and specifically recognises an epitope surrounding amino acids 155–159 (R-V-S-N-A) of the human protein. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is validated for Western blotting (recommended dilution 1:500–1:1000) and for immunofluorescence applications such as ICC/IF (1:100–1:200), where it detects the endogenous total VASP protein at the predicted molecular weight of approximately 50 kDa. The reagent shows confirmed reactivity with human and rat samples and is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
