Anti-VARS Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targeting valyl tRNA synthetase (VARS), supplied by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and it reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–280 of human VARS (NP_006286.1). The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide; the target protein runs at a molecular weight of 140 kDa. Concentration is reported as lot specific.

Recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:50–1:100 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:100. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. For research use only — not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
