Anti-Varicella Zoster Virus IE62 Antibody [62B]

This mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody (clone 62B), supplied by Antibodies.com, targets the Varicella Zoster Virus Immediate-Early protein 62 (IE62), a tegument and transcriptional activator encoded by ORF62 that is essential for initiating the VZV lytic gene-expression cascade. The unconjugated reagent is validated for western blot, immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, making it useful for detecting IE62 in VZV-infected cell lysates and fixed monolayers, for studying nuclear localization and the kinetics of immediate-early transcription, and for tracking viral replication in vitro. Each vial contains 100 µg of liquid antibody; for best stability, store frozen at -20 degrees C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light during extended use.
