Anti-Varicella Zoster Virus IE62 Antibody [62A]

The mouse monoclonal antibody [62A] from Antibodies.com specifically targets the Immediate-Early protein 62 (IE62) of Varicella Zoster Virus, the ORF62-encoded transcriptional activator that drives lytic replication and reactivation from neuronal latency.

Validated for western blot, immunoprecipitation, and immunocytochemistry combined with immunofluorescence, the unconjugated IgG1 reagent is supplied as a 100 µg liquid aliquot in a storage vial. For handling, store the vial at -20°C, protect from light, and limit freeze-thaw cycles by preparing small working aliquots before first use.

In western blot, IE62 is detected as a high-molecular-weight band of approximately 175 kDa, allowing clear separation from other VZV immediate-early and early gene products.
