Anti-VANGL1 Antibody

VANGL1 (Van Gogh-like protein 1) is a core component of the non-canonical Wnt/planar cell polarity (PCP) signaling pathway. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit, recognizes the human VANGL1 protein, a four-pass transmembrane receptor that localizes to the plasma membrane and transduces PCP cues during embryonic morphogenesis. Researchers studying neurulation have used anti-VANGL1 reagents to investigate links between VANGL1 missense variants and spina bifida risk, while oncology groups apply the same target to breast and hepatocellular carcinoma studies where VANGL1 promotes EMT, invasion, and metastatic spread.
