Anti-VAMP2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against VAMP2. It is of the IgG isotype and supplied unconjugated. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1–100 of human VAMP2 (NP_055047.2). The target protein has a molecular weight of 16 kDa. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with concentration reported as lot specific. Purification is performed by affinity chromatography.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:100 for IHC. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
