Anti-V5 Tag Antibody [V5.E10] - Identical to Abcam (ab53418) and Novus (NBP2-26248)

Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone V5.E10) to V5 Tag, available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype and is raised in mouse. It is validated for Western Blot, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Dot Blot, and is additionally reported for IS application. The immunogen is the GKPIPNPLLGLDST (V5) synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH, and the antibody specifically recognises V5-tagged fusion proteins. It is purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from culture supernatant of hybridoma cells grown in a bioreactor and is supplied at 1 mg/ml as a liquid in 10 mM Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.20, with 0.05% Sodium Azide. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
