UTP14A is a nucleolar protein implicated in 18S rRNA maturation and small-subunit ribosome assembly, functioning within the SSU processome complex. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit hosts as a polyclonal IgG preparation, validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Reactivity has been confirmed on human and mouse specimens, and the product is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot in a vial format, typically sufficient for multiple immunoblots and several tissue sections at standard working dilutions.
Researchers investigating ribosomal biogenesis, nucleolar stress, or ribosomopathy mechanisms can use this reagent to detect endogenous UTP14A protein in cell lysates and tissue sections, enabling visualization of expression patterns across normal and transformed cells. For research use only; aliquot upon arrival and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity over extended storage periods.
