Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against USP7 (Ubiquitin-Specific Protease 7), also known as HAUSP, a deubiquitinating enzyme implicated in DNA-damage response, p53 regulation and viral replication. The antibody is produced by immunising rabbits with a recombinant human USP7 protein and subsequently affinity-purified on the immunogen, ensuring that it recognises the endogenous levels of total USP7 without cross-reacting with closely related peptidases. It is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum at 1.0 mg/mL in a ready-to-use phosphate-buffered saline formulation (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The 50 µL vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated applications include Western blotting, where it cleanly detects the expected band in whole-cell lysates, and the reagent is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, making it a versatile choice for cross-species studies of USP7 in cell-line, primary-cell and tissue models. Researchers studying p53/MDM2 signalling, herpesvirus biology or the DNA-damage checkpoint will find this antibody a reliable tool for characterising USP7 expression and complex formation. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
