This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets USP7 (Ubiquitin-Specific Protease 7), a deubiquitinating enzyme that regulates p53 stability, DNA damage response pathways, and herpesvirus replication. The reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant.

Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the reagent cross-reacts with USP7 orthologs in human, mouse, and rat samples. Investigators commonly apply it to studies of tumor suppressor regulation, viral latency, and chromatin remodeling, where USP7-mediated deubiquitination of substrates such as MDM2 and PTEN shapes downstream signaling.

Each vial contains 100 µL of the antibody preparation, which should be stored at -20°C for long-term stability and protected from light to preserve activity. For routine handling, working aliquots can be refrigerated at 4°C to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Because USP7 expression varies widely across tissue types and disease states, the antibody is suited to comparative expression profiling, subcellular localization analyses, and validation of CRISPR-mediated knockouts in cancer and virology research.
