The Anti-USP28 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 28, a cysteine-dependent deubiquitinase that removes ubiquitin chains from substrate proteins to control their turnover, localization, and activity. USP28 participates in the cellular DNA damage response and stabilizes several regulatory proteins, including c-Myc, c-Jun, CHK2, and LSD1, making the antibody a relevant probe for research on genome stability, oncogenic signaling, and ubiquitin-mediated post-translational control. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) on human and mouse samples, so it can be paired with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies selected by the researcher for chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection. Because the polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, it tolerates minor variations and supports consistent visualization of the endogenous ~122 kDa USP28 protein in whole-cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and nuclear fractions. Each vial contains 200 µl of liquid antibody; for best stability the stock should be stored at -20 °C, divided into small working aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and briefly centrifuged before use to recover any material that has settled. Researchers investigating cancer pathways, double-strand break repair, and protein quality control can apply this antibody to track USP28 expression across treatment conditions, compare wild-type and knockout models, and follow changes induced by genotoxic stress or pharmacological perturbation.
