Anti-USP28 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against USP28 (Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 28), a cysteine-dependent deubiquitinase of the USP family that removes ubiquitin from substrate proteins and shields them from proteasomal degradation. USP28 is widely investigated in the DNA damage response, where it stabilizes checkpoint mediators, and in cancer biology because it counteracts the E3 ligase FBW7 to promote oncoprotein accumulation, including c-MYC.

The reagent is supplied as 200 µl of unconjugated rabbit IgG in liquid format and is validated for Western Blot (WB) detection of the human target. Typical workflows probe whole-cell lysates or nuclear extracts from cultured human cell lines to follow endogenous USP28 levels, monitor changes after DNA-damaging agent exposure, or characterize perturbations in the FBW7/c-MYC axis in research use only settings.
