Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 1 (USP1) is a cysteine-type deubiquitinating enzyme best known for regulating the Fanconi anemia DNA repair pathway through deubiquitination of FANCD2, and for controlling PCNA monoubiquitination during S-phase. The Antibodies.com Anti-USP1 polyclonal reagent enables researchers to detect endogenous human USP1 protein in cell and tissue lysate workflows.

Raised in rabbit and purified as an IgG immunoglobulin, this unconjugated preparation is supplied in a 100 µl volume and is validated for Western blot applications. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which is useful when probing protein expression across different human cell lines or comparing basal versus induced USP1 levels under DNA-damaging conditions such as hydroxyurea or UV treatment.

Investigations of genomic stability, translesion DNA synthesis, checkpoint control, and acquired chemoresistance all rely on robust USP1 detection. Because the reagent is unconjugated, laboratories can pair it with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent Western blot readouts depending on the experimental design.
