USF1 (Upstream Stimulatory Factor 1) is a ubiquitously expressed transcription factor of the basic-helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper family that recognizes E-box DNA motifs (5'-CACGTG-3') and regulates genes involved in lipid and glucose metabolism, cellular stress response, and circadian rhythm. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against a region of human USF1 and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial suitable for multiple experiments.
The unconjugated reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence across human, mouse, and rat samples. Because USF1 forms both homodimers and heterodimers with USF2, the antibody supports studies of nuclear localization, recruitment to target promoters, and altered expression patterns in metabolic disease, cancer biology, and circadian research workflows. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve antibody activity across repeated use.
