Anti-UPK3B Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the urothelium-associated protein UPK3B (Uroplakin 3B), this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets a tetraspan-family component of the asymmetric unit membrane that lines the bladder and upper urinary tract. UPK3B assembles with partner uroplakins (UPK1A, UPK1B, UPK2 and UPK3A) to form the crystalline plaques responsible for the urothelium's hallmark impermeability to urine, and altered UPK3B expression has been documented in urothelial carcinomas, bladder inflammation models, and studies of urothelial differentiation.
