UPF1 (Up-Frameshift Suppressor 1) is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase and the central effector of the nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) pathway, a conserved quality-control mechanism that degrades transcripts harboring premature termination codons. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and detects UPF1 from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across standard mammalian model systems.
Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated format is suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence assays. Aliquot on first use, store refrigerated, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve performance. The product is supplied for research use only.
