Anti-Unc18-2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the Sec1/Munc18-family protein Unc18-2, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes Syntaxin-binding protein 2 (STXBP2), a key regulator of SNARE-mediated membrane fusion and cytotoxic granule exocytosis in natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) on human samples. STXBP2 is clinically relevant: loss-of-function mutations cause familial hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis type 5 (FHL-5), and the antibody supports research into lymphocyte cytotoxicity, granule release mechanisms, and Munc18-syntaxin interaction dynamics.
