Anti-UMPS Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent against UMPS and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated, leaving detection chemistry open to the user's preferred secondary labelling strategy. Reactivity has been demonstrated with human, mouse, and rat samples.

For Western blot the manufacturer recommends a working dilution range of 1:500 to 1:2,000. The reagent was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 181–480 of human UMPS (NP_000364.1) and is affinity purified. It is supplied in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. According to manufacturer information, the product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
