Anti-UMOD Antibody

UMOD encodes uromodulin, the GPI-anchored glycoprotein (UniProt P07911) produced almost exclusively by epithelial cells of the thick ascending limb of Henle's loop in the kidney. As the most abundant endogenous protein in healthy urine, it contributes to salt reabsorption, helps maintain water homeostasis, and modulates tubular innate immunity.
