Anti-UGDH Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets UDP-glucose 6-dehydrogenase (UGDH), the cytosolic oxidoreductase that converts UDP-glucose to UDP-glucuronate, the nucleotide sugar precursor feeding glycosaminoglycan, proteoglycan, and hyaluronan biosynthesis. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated IgG preparation is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant, and is supplied in a 100 µl vial sufficient for multiple western blot and immunohistochemistry experiments. Verified applications include western blot detection of endogenous UGDH in lysates from human, mouse, and rat samples, and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, where the antibody helps localize UGDH in metabolically active cells such as hepatocytes, fibroblasts, and tumor stromal regions.
