Anti-UCP1 Antibody

Supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent, this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets UCP1. The antibody is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is formulated in a phosphate-buffered saline solution containing glycerol and is shipped at 4°C. On arrival, the product should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.

Validated by the manufacturer for Western blot, IHC-P and ELISA, the reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended working dilutions include WB at 1:1,000-1:5,000 and IHC-P at 1:50-1:200, with ELISA at 1 µg/ml suggested as a starting concentration. The predicted molecular weight of the target is 33 kDa, and the immunogen used is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 100-200 of human UCP1.
