Anti-UCN (A103) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against UCN, recognising the A103 region of the protein. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 80–130 of human UCN, and the reagent is reported by the manufacturer to detect endogenous levels of urocortin protein.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, this unconjugated primary antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is reported as greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and the expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 13 kDa.
