UCH-L1 (ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase L1), also called PGP9.5, is a deubiquitinating enzyme concentrated in neurons and neuroendocrine cells, making it a widely studied marker in neurodegeneration and tumor pathology research. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows.
The antibody detects both human and rodent (mouse, rat) UCH-L1, supporting translational neuroscience studies, including Parkinson's disease models, neuronal injury characterization, and small-cell carcinoma profiling. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it remains compatible with the end user's preferred reporter systems, whether HRP, biotin, or fluorophore labeling.
Shipped refrigerated with aliquoting recommended to limit freeze-thaw exposure, the antibody retains activity across multiple experiments. Provided by Antibodies.com for research use only.
