UBFD1 (Ubiquitin Family Domain Containing 1) functions within the ER-associated degradation (ERAD) pathway, partnering with p97/VCP to extract polyubiquitinated substrates from the endoplasmic reticulum for delivery to the proteasome. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against the human protein and cross-reacts with the mouse and rat orthologues, supporting comparative work across standard mammalian laboratory models. The unconjugated antibody is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, supplied as 100 µl per vial. It is validated for western blot and is intended for research use only. For best results, store refrigerated and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, aliquoting as needed to preserve binding activity.
