Anti-UBE2S Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against UBE2S, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation in liquid form. The antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and has been affinity purified.

Antibodies.com lists two related products with different validated applications. One is validated for WB, ICC/IF and ELISA and is supported by 2 scientific images, with recommended dilutions of WB 1:500–1:2,000, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200 and ELISA at 1 µg/ml as a starting concentration. The other is validated for WB and IHC, is described as knockout validated, and is supported by 1 scientific image, with recommended dilutions of WB 1:200–1:2,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200.

The immunogen for the WB/ICC/IF/ELISA variant is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–222 of human UBE2S, whereas the WB/IHC variant uses a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 122–221 of human UBE2S (NP_055316.2). The reported molecular weight is 26 kDa and the predicted molecular weight is 24 kDa. The antibody is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol; one formulation contains 0.02% sodium azide as preservative and the other contains 0.01% thiomersal. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
