UBE2N (Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 N), also referred to as UBC13, is a key E2 enzyme that partners with UEV-family proteins to build K63-linked polyubiquitin chains. These chains drive error-free post-replication repair of stalled replication forks, support RNF8/RNF168-mediated chromatin remodelling after DNA damage, and feed into NF-κB signalling and RIG-I-like/STING innate immune pathways, making UBE2N a frequent target in studies of genome stability, inflammation, and tumour biology.

The unconjugated IgG is supplied as 200 µl aliquots and recognises the endogenous protein in Human and Rat samples. Researchers commonly deploy it to track UBE2N expression across cultured cell lines and primary tissues, monitor changes following genotoxic stress such as UV, hydroxyurea, or cisplatin exposure, and probe UBC13/UEV1 heterodimer behaviour by co-immunoprecipitation.
