This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme Ube2L3, also known as UBCH7, an E2 enzyme that partners with HECT- and RBR-family E3 ligases to transfer ubiquitin onto substrate proteins. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples, the antibody is affinity-purified and free of carrier-protein conjugates, allowing direct secondary-antibody detection.

Ube2L3 participates in NF-κB signaling and the turnover of immune receptors, and it has been investigated as a susceptibility factor in autoimmune and inflammatory conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn's disease. Researchers studying E2 selectivity, HECT-mediated polyubiquitination, or K48- and K63-linked ubiquitin chain assembly use this reagent to probe endogenous Ube2L3 levels in cell lysates, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and cultured mammalian cells.

The unconjugated format offers flexibility to conjugate the antibody in-house to fluorophores, HRP, or biotin, matching the detection chemistry required for imaging, blotting, or chromogenic assays. For best results, aliquot on first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light if a fluorescent secondary is later coupled.
