This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets UBE2I (also known as UBC9), the dedicated E2 conjugating enzyme responsible for covalent attachment of SUMO paralogues to substrate proteins. Generated and validated by Antibodies.com for Western blot workflows, the reagent detects endogenous UBE2I in lysates prepared from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of the SUMOylation machinery in DNA damage response, cell cycle progression, and nuclear transport pathways.

Supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified polyclonal IgG at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the unconjugated antibody is ready for use with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents. For Western blot, typical working dilutions fall between 1:500 and 1:2000 depending on antigen abundance and detection chemistry. The antibody solution should be stored refrigerated short term and frozen for longer-term stability; aliquoting upon receipt helps minimize freeze-thaw cycles and preserves binding performance across multiple experiments.
