The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against UBE2E3 (Ubiquitin-Conjugating Enzyme E2E 3), a key E2 enzyme in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide, adjusted to approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for western blot detection of human and rat samples.

UBE2E3 transfers activated ubiquitin from E1 charging enzymes to downstream substrates, typically partnering with specific E3 ligase complexes such as CUL4-DDB1-DCAF assemblies. The enzyme is implicated in cell cycle progression, the DNA damage response, and regulation of protein turnover, making this reagent useful for studies of post-translational modification and proteasome-dependent signaling in cell biology research.

Researchers commonly use this antibody to evaluate UBE2E3 expression across cultured cell lines and tissue lysates and to monitor changes in abundance after proteasome inhibition or genotoxic treatment. The supplied 1 mg/ml concentration supports flexible dilution across different membrane formats used in western blot workflows. To preserve activity, aliquot the vial before freezing for extended storage and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sodium azide is included as a preservative at 15 mM.
