UBE2D1 is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2) family that partners with diverse E3 ligases to transfer ubiquitin onto substrate proteins, driving proteasomal degradation and regulating pathways tied to cell-cycle progression, DNA damage response, and protein turnover. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and recognizes the human, mouse, and rat forms of UBE2D1, supporting cross-species studies in standard laboratory models.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotective additive, and each vial contains 100 µl of ready-to-use stock. Researchers can apply it to western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates and to immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, enabling detection of endogenous UBE2D1 expression in cultured mammalian cells and in tissue samples. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with a user-selected secondary antibody, while the polyclonal nature provides recognition of multiple epitopes for more robust signal in WB and IHC workflows.

For western blot, samples are typically resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to a membrane, and probed with the antibody followed by an appropriate HRP-conjugated secondary reagent; for immunohistochemistry, standard antigen retrieval with a chromogenic detection system is commonly used. Store the vial at -20 °C in small aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and dilute into blocking buffer immediately before use.
