The U2AF1L4 protein (also known as U2AF26) is an RNA splicing auxiliary factor that participates in 3' splice site recognition during pre-mRNA processing, with established roles in the minor spliceosome pathway responsible for removing U12-type introns. Antibodies.com provides this reagent as a 100 µL volume of Rabbit polyclonal IgG, unconjugated, for use in Western Blot and Immunofluorescence studies of human samples.

This Primary Antibody targets endogenous U2AF1L4 and is supplied as a liquid antiserum ready for standard immunodetection protocols including immunoblotting of cell lysates and immunostaining of fixed cells. The polyclonal nature of the reagent allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which can be advantageous when probing for splice variants or post-translationally modified forms of the protein.

Investigators working on alternative splicing mechanisms, minor intron retention events, and the regulation of U12-dependent splicing in cancer or developmental biology contexts commonly employ this reagent. For storage, refrigerate the vial upon arrival and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the antibody remains stable for repeated use when handled under standard cold-chain conditions.
