This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets cytoplasmic Tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase (YARS1), the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase that charges tRNATyr with tyrosine during translation. Beyond its canonical role in protein biosynthesis, this enzyme is actively investigated for its non-canonical cytokine-like activities that emerge after proteolytic cleavage, as well as for its connection to dominant intermediate Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type C, a dominantly inherited peripheral neuropathy caused by YARS1 mutations.

Provided as 100 µg of unconjugated antibody, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples and supports studies of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase biology, neuromuscular disease mechanisms, and translational control. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, and unconjugated presentation allows flexible labeling to match downstream detection chemistries in WB or IHC workflows.

Store refrigerated; aliquot and freeze at -20 degrees C for long-term storage to preserve activity and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only.
