Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets total endogenous Tyrosine Hydroxylase protein. The immunogen is a synthesized non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the region surrounding the serine 19 phosphorylation site (A-V-S(p)-E-Q) of human Tyrosine Hydroxylase, and the unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot of phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg2+ or Ca2+, pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Validated applications include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, with reactivity confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species neuroscience and catecholamine biosynthesis research. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance. Intended for research use only, the reagent is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
