Raised in rabbit and validated for immunohistochemistry on rodent tissue sections, this unconjugated IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets the TYROBP signaling adapter, also known as DAP12 and KARAP. The polyclonal antibody is reactive against mouse and rat orthologs, supporting studies of microglial and myeloid TYROBP expression in murine neuroinflammation and bone-remodeling models, including Nasu-Hakola disease research where loss-of-function variants in the human ortholog affect both the skeleton and the central nervous system.

TYROBP functions as a transmembrane ITAM-bearing adapter that pairs with numerous activating receptors on NK cells, dendritic cells, and microglia. Receptor ligation triggers ITAM phosphorylation, Syk-family kinase recruitment, and downstream effector responses including cytokine release, phagocytosis, and cytotoxic granule release.

The reagent is supplied at 50 µl as a liquid IgG fraction, unconjugated for flexible pairing with HRP-coupled or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies of the user's choice. For short-term storage, keep refrigerated; for longer projects, freeze working aliquots at -20 degrees C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. Each vial is intended for research use only.
