From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the TXNRD2 target, specifically at residue S501. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 471-520 of Human TXNRD2, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of TXNRD2 protein. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2, and the observed molecular weight is ~ 62 kDa.
The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Two scientific validation images are available.
