Raised against human thioredoxin domain-containing protein 1 (TXNDC1), this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is produced in Rabbit and provided unconjugated in a 100µl volume. TXNDC1, also called TMX1, is an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane oxidoreductase involved in disulfide bond formation, calcium handling, and protein folding quality control within the ER lumen.

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF), supporting detection of endogenous TXNDC1 in human cell lysates and fixed-cell imaging preparations. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage, an advantage when probing isoform variants or redox-dependent modifications of the target.

Typical applications include investigations of ER stress responses, oxidative protein folding pathways, and the contribution of TXNDC1/TMX1 to hepatocellular carcinoma and other disease models. Reactivity is specific to Human. Recommended handling includes refrigeration, brief equilibration to room temperature before use, and aliquoting to minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles and preserve titer across multiple experiments.
