TXK is a Tec-family non-receptor tyrosine kinase that couples T-cell receptor engagement to downstream signaling cascades, influencing Th2 cytokine production and mast cell activation. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against this kinase and detects endogenous TXK in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies that compare immune signaling across mammalian model systems.

Validated for Western blot, the antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. The unconjugated format gives researchers flexibility to pair the reagent with HRP-conjugated, biotinylated, or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies, depending on the detection platform. Each vial contains 100 µl, sufficient for multiple immunoblotting experiments after aliquoting.

For optimal stability, store the vial refrigerated short term and freeze at -20°C for long-term retention; aliquotting on first use limits repeated freeze-thaw cycles and preserves binding activity. Researchers studying lymphocyte signaling, autoimmune pathways, and Tec-kinase biology will find this polyclonal a useful tool for probing TXK expression and post-translational regulation in cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
