Anti-TUFM Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit is offered by Antibodies.com for detection of the TUFM target. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and has been validated for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation. It reacts with samples of human, mouse, and rat origin.

The immunogen used was a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 186–455 of human TUFM (NP_003312.3), and the target migrates at a reported molecular weight of 49 kDa. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, at a lot-specific concentration. It is purified by affinity chromatography and is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Suggested starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry, 1:10–1:100 for ICC/IF, and 1:50–1:200 for immunoprecipitation.
