Raised in a rabbit host and supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent, this primary antibody targets TUBG1, the gamma-tubulin 1 protein that localizes to the centrosome and drives microtubule nucleation during mitotic spindle assembly. The reagent is validated for western blot detection of the human target, supporting studies of centriole biogenesis, cell-cycle progression, and disorders linked to TUBG1 dysfunction such as microcephaly. Each vial is supplied at a working volume of 100 µl, with the unconjugated format allowing researchers to pair the reagent with their preferred secondary reporter and detection chemistry. From Antibodies.com, the preparation is intended for immunoblotting of human cell or tissue lysates, where the approximately 51 kDa gamma-tubulin band can be resolved on standard SDS-PAGE gels.
