Targeting the class III beta-tubulin isoform (TUBB3), this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com supports neuroscience and oncology research workflows. TUBB3 is a microtubule subunit expressed predominantly in neurons and is widely used as a marker of neuronal differentiation and lineage commitment. In oncology, its retained expression in several tumour types has been linked to taxane resistance, making the antibody useful for both developmental studies and cancer characterisation.

Supplied as 100 µl in a vial of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers commonly apply it to track neurite outgrowth in differentiating stem cell models, characterise peripheral and central nervous system tissue sections, and probe beta-tubulin isoform switching in development and disease. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the target, which can be advantageous when studying post-translational modifications or splice variants.

Aliquot on receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store at -20°C in working aliquots for long-term stability; for short-term use, refrigeration at 4°C is acceptable for several weeks. As an unconjugated preparation, the antibody is compatible with a broad choice of secondary detection reagents and custom labelling strategies, including fluorescent, HRP, and biotin-based systems, giving flexibility across imaging and blotting platforms.
