Anti-TUBB2A (Acetyl-K379) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com and raised against TUBB2A acetylated at Lys379. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic acetylated peptide derived from human TUBB2A around the acetylation site at K379.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. It detects endogenous levels of TUBB2A protein only when acetylated at Lys379 and also recognises TUBB2B/3/4A/4B/6 proteins when these are acetylated at the corresponding residues. The reagent is supplied at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and the target protein has an observed molecular weight of around 49 kDa.
