This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the acetylated lysine 379 (Acetyl-K379) residue on TUBB2A, a neuron-enriched beta-tubulin isotype that supports microtubule assembly during central nervous system development. The reagent is validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples and is commonly used in studies of cytoskeletal regulation and post-translational tubulin modification.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, the reagent is raised in rabbit and is compatible with both HRP- and fluorescent-secondary detection workflows. The K379 acetylation mark is a recognized indicator of long-lived, stabilized microtubules and is of interest in research on neuronal differentiation, neurodegenerative disease models, and TUBB2A-associated brain malformations such as polymicrogyria.

For handling, refrigerate at 4 °C; aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity across repeated Western blot experiments.
